Blue cloth with pictorial cover of the wrapper edition pasted to the front cover; issued without a dust wrapper but in a blue slipcase with a black label stamped in gold affixed to the spine of the slipcase. Limited to 26 lettered copies signed by Edward Gorey. A first edition statement appears as part of the colophon. Note: Two copies (designated "T:I" and "T:II"), each containing an original drawing and alternative remarks in Japanese, are reserved for the author's use.

Note: Edward Gorey had these copies printed to see how the book would look without the dominant blue stamping.
